Words can’t begin to describe how grateful I am for this amazing experience and all of the incredible people I met. My time in the program was instrumental in providing the insight and guidance I needed to initiate my career in fashion business. I entered the course unsure of how my interests and strengths aligned in the fashion world but I left feeling confident in my ability to make an impact on the industry and the community around me. After completing my One Week Fashion Business course at Condé Nast College I was left extremely inspired and ready to begin my journey in the fashion industry. In this short course I gained invaluable tips and tricks from the best in the industry. From getting to visit the Vogue House to listening to inspiring guest speakers, I loved every moment start to finish. I met so many amazing people and really stepped out of my comfort zone which has led me to take the leap I always needed by starting to apply for internships. The lecturers were amazing. I loved hearing Ruth Butah and Wendy Kay’s stories and their knowledge was so valuable. Everyone was so helpful at Condé Nast I couldn’t fault them, I hope to return for another course soon. After completing the One Week Fashion Business course at Condé Nast College, I am thankful to have learned from Wendy Kay, one of the visiting lecturers, about her experiences in buying and merchandising, as well as her advice on becoming an entrepreneur. As I am just beginning to learn about the fashion business industry, her knowledge was extremely valuable. Understanding the different routes and strategies she has taken to reach her goals was very inspiring and I am excited to apply that guidance for myself. I thoroughly enjoyed lectures where we created our own business strategies to ensure more sustainability and circular fashion. Gigi Chambers, One Week Fashion Business, Sep 2021

The Campus

Condé Nast College is situated in a historic building at Bedford Square, in Central London.

The area was built between 1775 and 1783 and is one of the best preserved set pieces of Georgian architecture in London.

The square has had many illustrious residents including Lord Eldon, one of Britain’s longest-serving and most celebrated Lord Chancellors, who lived in the largest house in the square for many years. Other famous residents include the second Duke of Devonshire; William Butterfield, an architect; and H H Asquith, a former Prime Minister.

The square takes its name from the main title of the Russell family, the Dukes of Bedford, who owned much of the land in what is now Bloomsbury.

Bedford Square is in the heart of Bloomsbury, an exciting area for academia and the arts; originally made famous by Virginia Woolf and the Bloomsbury Set.

The College is a short walk from the headquarters of Condé Nast, which our students visit as part of their exposure to the professional world.

Who Teaches at the Condé Nast College?
